Why hire a licensed drone pilot?

It's not just about possessing the technical and creative ability to "get the shot."

You also need to consider safety and professionalism.

Safe & Legal

United Stated federal aviation law requires you to hire a drone pilot licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for projects that are commercial in nature. As a licensed drone professional, I will ensure that drone operations for your project (whether performed by myself or an unlicensed operator) are conducted safely and in accordance with federal aviation law.

Liability

When you hire a FAA licensed drone pilot like me, you put the liability of the law on my head. If I break the rules, it's on me not you. Also, while it's not required by law, I carry a mimimum of 1 million dollars liability insurance to cover damages in the unlikely event of an accident.

Professionalism

Listen, I didn't shell out for a professional grade drone, and spend hours studying for a test, because I think flying drones is, "like, really cool man." I got licensed because I mean business. You can expect that if I'm working on your project not only will it be done right, but you'll end up with the shot of your dreams.  The kind that only a drone professional can deliver.
